So, why Studio Joki? Well, the roots of this name go deep into my own history. You see, Joki is not just a word; it's my maiden name and also the Finnish word for river. For me, It embodies the flow of life, the journey we're all on. And though I've never set foot in Finland, its culture, and more specifically, the concept of "sisu," has always resonated with me.

"Sisu" encapsulates stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience, and hardiness. I've faced my own share of challenges – from navigating difficult childbirth to raising a special needs child and confronting my own childhood traumas. The unexpected journey of balancing the corporate world with raising a toddler with autism taught me resilience and the importance of staying true to myself.

Many say it's impossible to balance motherhood with a full-time corporate role. Throw in the complexities of raising a child with special needs, and the struggle to retain my identity became a constant battle. My greatest accomplishment and joy is my son, who has been my guiding light through this journey. I found solace in my core passions – crafting, creating, photography, socializing, and giving back. Despite the challenges, I pivoted and adjusted, refusing to lose the essence of who I am.

At my core, I'm a creative spirit and a helper. Studio Joki emerged as a creative outlet to assist others in reaching their full potential through the art of personal branding. With a decade of experience, I've honed my skills not only in crafting stunning visual brands but also in sharing stories that resonate.
